As you all know, we founded the company Üründül Enerji Yatırımları A.Ş. in 2009 to bring our 30-year experience in dams and construction together with new energy investments, made important investment decisions and focused on achieving results. With the strategic decision we made in 2009 defining the power generation operations as the main line of business, we aimed to position Üründül as one of Turkey’s leading energy companies. Besides supporting the satisfaction of Turkey’s power requirements, we started to make vital investments which we believe will also create new values within Üründül Group. While accomplishing all such initiatives, we also initiated corporate governance operations by end of 2011 with a view to better managing growth and change, strengthening and sustaining the corporate structure, preparing for the future and developing our human resources, one of our most valuable assets. In this respect, we currently continue detailed works under the main titles of Job Descriptions and Charts of Organization, Job Evaluation –Compensation System and Fringe Benefits, Performance Evaluation System, Drafting of Regulations, and Career–Training–Development Plans. Furthermore, we made our training plans as intended to develop in the first place the management skills and 4 basic competencies (Communication, Problem Resolution, Team Work, Openness to Innovation and Change) all of our employees are required to have. In addition, our works are underway to launch the Coaching Program in 2013 to develop behavioral and managerial competencies of employees. We have set up a very dynamic team of highly-experienced, motivated and specialized people dedicated to their jobs with passion within our Energy Projects Group developing and executing our new energy projects, and taking a significant step towards enriching ourselves. Believing that risky periods bring opportunities as well, as Üründül Enerji, we will, in this period with intensive risks and uncertainties existing in the global economy, boost our country’s competitiveness and take it to the future through sectors where we operate and continue to create values for our country, society and employees, while turning new developments across the world into opportunities.
