Born in Ankara in 1947. Attended the primary school in Ankara,
and the secondary school in Merzifon. Graduated from Yıldırım
Beyazıt High School, Ankara in 1965. Completed the Ankara
Academy of Economics and Commercial Sciences in 1970.
His career started at T.C. Ziraat Bankası in 1966 where he
worked until 1971. Completed military service as a Reserve
Officer in 1971 to 1972.
Worked as a CFO and financial coordinator at Seri İnşaat ve
Ticaret A.Ş. from 01.08.1973 to 01.11. 1983 and at Ata İnşaat
San. ve Tic. A.Ş. from 1.11.1983 to 30.10.2010.
His previous and current positions as a Director include:
Ata Yatırım Menkul Kıymetler A.Ş., Founding Shareholder - 1990
to 2006;
Ata Online A.Ş - 2001 to 2011;
Ata Portföy - 2000 to 2011;
Entegre Harç Sanayi and Tic. A.Ş. - since 1985; and
Turk Ytong A.Ş. - as of April 2012.
Established Sedko İnşaat A.Ş. and Üründül Enerji Yatırımları
A.Ş. in 2008, together with Sedat Üründül and Ömer Üründül and
is currently in office as Vice President.
Also a Member of Finance Club, Dear Duran Uğur married and has
three daughters.
