Verda Üründül Student Dormitory for Girls which is situated within Ayazaga Campus and put into service in 1992 was built by İTÜ Foundation, with the donation of Mr. Dr. H. Sedat Üründül, Engineer, MSc., who is an İTÜ graduate himself. And its name is given after Mr. Sedat Üründül’s deceased wife Mrs. Verda Üründül.

Verda Üründül Student Dormitory for Girls groundbreaking ceremony of which was held on February 25th, 1992 was put into service on December 2nd, 1992 with a capacity of 105 students.
